The Blackface 65 Twin Reverb is another one of Leo Fenders most revered amps. Built between 1963-67 they are highly sought after by guitarists for their clean , chimey bell -like sound with beautiful vintage tone.Rated at 85 watts into 4 ohms. Here we replicate the Blackface 65' Twin.The circuit is the AB763.The schematic and layout is available here

As with previous builds , the components we use include the handmade Sozo capacitors,especially wound Mercury Magnetics O/P transformer, Allen-Bradley NOS carbon comp resistors, point to point wiring utilising cotton -sheath wiring t'out...etc |
